Roma 3-0 Monza: Paulo Dybala brace eases Giallorossi to home win
Roma ease to a comfortable 3-0 win at the Stadio Olympico. Roma wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Juventus in their previous game whilst ASS lost 2-1 in the last match they played against Udinese. As it stands, Roma and ASS currently occupy 1st and 20th spots in the league, with 10 points and 0 points respectively after 4 matches.
Roma found the net first, when Paulo Dybala opened the rout in the 18th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Paulo Dybala made it 2-0, at 32 minutes, concluding the first half 2-0.
Giallorossi continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Roger Ibanez found the net at the 61 minute mark, leaving the final score at 3-0.
Substitutions for Roma included Chris Smalling, Stephan El Shaarawy, Leonardo Spinazzola, Edoardo Bove and Andrea Belotti for Marash Kumbulla, Paulo Dybala, Nicola Zalewski, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Tammy Abraham, repectively. ASS brought on Salvatore Molina, Patrick Ciurria, Dany Mota, Andrea Colpani and Warren Bondo, to replace Luca Marrone, Andrea Petagna, Gianluca Caprari, Matteo Pessina and Stefano Sensi.
The referee booked three players from ASS, Pepin, Marlon and Patrick Ciurria.
Roma will next play Udinese away, with ASS facing Atalanta at home.
