Bologna 2-1 Torino: The Greyhounds jubilant after home win against The Bull
Bologna eased past Torino in a 2-1 victory on Sunday at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. Both Bologna and Torino arrived at the challenge after previous wins. Bologna were keen to hang onto their position at the top of the table and extend their winning run after winning their previous two matches in the league. The most recent was against the AC Monza away (2-1), the other to Lecce at home (2-0). Torino were hoping to continue their winning streak after back-to-back victories against AC Milan and Udinese. Bologna are now in 13th place, with 13 points from 13 matches, while Torino sit in 10th, with 17 points from 13.
The Bull started strongly in the first half, with a goal from Sasa Lukic, at 26 minutes to see out the first half 1-0.
The Greyhounds once more applied the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Riccardo Orsolini in the 64th minute. Bologna then scored once more and turned the match thanks to a goal from Stefan Posch, at 73 minutes to give a final score of 2-1.
Substitutions for Bologna included Emanuel Vignato, Babis Lykogiannis, Riccardo Orsolini, Roberto Soriano and Jerdy Schouten for Musa Barrow, Andrea Cambiaso, Michel Aebischer, Lewis Ferguson and Nicolas Dominguez, respectively.
