Atalanta 1-2 Napoli: Gli Azzurri pass a big away test against Atalanta
Atalanta fell to a home defeat at the hands of Napoli at the Gewiss Stadium on Saturday. Both teams arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Atalanta had been hopeful of continuing their good run after winning last match. Napoli were coming from consecutive wins against Sassuolo and Roma. The Goddess dominated the first half, when Ademola Lookman gave them the lead, at 19 minutes. However, their lead didn’t last for long, Victor Osimhen producing an equaliser on the 23 minute mark, bringing Gli Azzurri level. However they weren’t finished yet and Eljif Elmas made it 2-1 in the 35th minute, concluding the first half 2-1. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 2-1.
