Bochum 0-2 Werder Bremen: Fullkrug brace lifts the The River Islanders to victory

Following a goalless first half, Werder continued to pile on the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Niclas Fullkrug gave them the lead, at 86 minutes. The River Islanders then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a penalty second effort from Niclas Fullkrug just before the final whistle to give a final score of 2-0.

Substitutions for Bochum included Philipp Hofmann, Patrick Osterhage, Christopher Antwi-Adjej and Ivan Ordets for Gerrit Holtmann, Simon Zoller, Philipp Forster and Jordi Osei-Tutu, respectively.
