Patronato enjoyed a home victory against CA Platense at Estadio Presbitero Bartolome Grella on Saturday. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were each keen to pick up points. Patronato were aiming to improve their league standing following a 0-0 draw with Unión Santa Fe in their previous game.
After an uneventful first half, Patronato applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Carlos Quintana gave them the lead in the 67th minute, leaving the final score at 1-0.
Substitutions for Patronato included Axel Rodriguez, Matias Pardo, Juan Pablo Barinaga, Facundo Cobos and Justo Giani for Nicolas Eduardo Castro, Tiago Banega, Jorge Valdez Chamorro, Sebastian Medina and Jonas Acevedo, respectively.
