Lanús 2-3 Defensa and Justicia: Strong Second Half Gives D&J victory
Defensa and Justicia enjoyed a mesmerising away victory against Lanús at Estadio Ciudad de Lanus on Monday. Lanús were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Unión Santa Fe. Huracán were coming from consecutive wins against River and Colón. As the table looks today, Lanús are currently 26th with 5 points from 7 matches, while Huracán sit in 3rd, with 14 points from 7.
Lanús scored first, when Braian Nahuel Aguirre found the net early in the first half. However, the good fortune didn’t last for long. An equalizer from Matias Coccaro at the 21 minute mark brought Huracán level. Lanús in turn, then responded at the 34 minute mark increasing their lead with an effort from Mateo Sanabria, to take a 2-1 lead into half time.
Huracán fought back, when Benjamin Garre found the net, at 52 minutes. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a second effort from Matias Coccaro at the 59 minute mark with a final score of 3-2.
Substitutions for Lanús included Leonel Di Placido, Alexis Segovia, Ivan Cazal and Lucas Varaldo for Raul Loaiza, Mateo Sanabria, Franco Orozco and Samuel Careaga, repectively.
