Godoy Cruz 1-0 Colón: Godoy Cruz continue hot home form with narrow victory over Colón

Colón fell to an away defeat at the hands of Godoy Cruz at Estadio Malvinas Argentinas on Sunday. Godoy Cruz were looking for a victory following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Atlético Tucumán in their previous game whilst Colón lost 1-0 in the last match they played against Defensa and Justicia. After today’s result, Godoy Cruz and Colón sit 4th, (10 points) and 22nd, (5 points), in the table respectively, after 6 matches.

After an uneventful first half, Godoy Cruz applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Tadeo Allende gave Godoy Cruz the lead in the 57th minute, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Godoy Cruz included Matias Ramirez, Tomas Castro Ponce, Nestor Breitenbruch, Tomas Badaloni and Guillermo Ortiz for Tadeo Allende, Ezequiel Bullaude, Elias Lopez, Salomon Rodriguez and Martin Ojeda, repectively.
