Aldosivi fell to an away defeat at the hands of Boca at Alberto Jose Armando. Both sides arrived on the back of wins. Boca were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games against Vélez Sarsfield at home and Godoy Cruz away, by 1-0 and 1-0 respectively. Aldosivi, meanwhile, had been hopeful of extending their winning run, after a 2-0 victory against Barracas C.. Boca and Aldosivi currently occupy 2nd and 28th spots in the league, with 42 points and 16 points respectively after 24 matches.

Boca found the net first, when Martin Payero found the net, at 11 minutes. However, their lead was short-lived, as an equalizer from Nicolas Valentini, 16 minutes in, brought Aldosivi level. Boca in turn, then responded just before half-time, grabbing the lead with an effort from Dario Benedetto, to take a 2-1 lead into half time. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 2-1.

Substitutions for Boca included Cristian Medina, Simon Rivero, Diego Gonzalez, Luis Vazquez and Facundo Roncaglia for Martin Payero, Luca Daniel Langoni, Oscar Romero, Dario Benedetto and Guillermo Fernandez, respectively. Aldosivi brought on Juan Manuel Cuesta, Braian Martinez, Elias Britez and Rufino Lucero, to replace Matias Pisano, Tomas Martinez, Francisco Cerro and Emanuel Iniguez.

There were bookings for Alan Varela, Oscar Romero and Simon Rivero from Boca. For Aldosivi, Matias Pisano, Marcelo Meli, Santiago Silva and Elias Britez saw yellow.
