Argentinos 1 – Arsenal de Sarandi 1: Home advantage cancelled out by visitors

On Monday, Argentinos and Arsenal de Sarandi were held to a 1-1 draw at Diego Armando Maradona. Argentinos were looking to improve their position in the division, following a previous defeat to Newell’s Old Boys. Arsenal de Sarandi, on the other hand, had managed to pick up a single point in their matchup with Talleres Córdoba. Following today’s result, Argentinos are in 13th place in the table and have 7 points while Arsenal de Sarandi sit in 22nd with 4 points after 5 matches.

Argentinos started strongly in the first half, with an early goal from Nicolas Reniero in the 3rd minute and the first half ended 1-0.

Arsenal de Sarandi started the second half with renewed vigour, thanks to a goal from Cristian Colman at the 52 minute mark. The final result, Argentinos 1, Arsenal de Sarandi 1.

Substitutions for Argentinos included Mariano Bittolo, Thiago Nuss, Gabriel Florentin, Mateo Coronel and Jose Maria Herrera for David Zalazar, Nicolas Reniero, Matias Alejandro Galarza, Javier Cabrera and Mariano Bittolo, repectively. Arsenal de Sarandi brought on Facundo Kruspzky, Lucas Brochero, Leonel Picco and Juan Apaolaza, to replace Alejo Antilef, Sebastian Lomonaco, Dardo Miloc and Cristian Colman.

There were bookings for Miguel Torren from Argentinos, and Damian Perez, Cristian Chimino and Cristian Colman, for Arsenal de Sarandi.

Argentinos will next travel to Central Córdoba, while Arsenal de Sarandi will face Estudiantes La Plata at home.
