Inter Miami beated Toronto FC 1-0 on Saturday at BMO Field. Phili are now in 13th place, with 34 points from 45 matches, while Inter sit in 7th, with 45 points from 45.
Following a goalless first half, Inter continued to apply pressure in the second period and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Higuaín just before the final whistle, seing the match finish 1-0.
Substitutions for Phili included Nelson, Achara and Akinola for Kerr, Insigne and Jesús Jiménez, respectively. Inter brought on Taylor, Lassiter, Ulloa and Vassilev, to replace Campana, Bryce Duke, Pozuelo and Higuaín.
There were bookings for Insigne, Bradley and Laryea from Phili, and Campana and Gregore, for Inter.
