Columbus 1-0 Inter Miami: Home win for The Crew as Diaz goals sinks The Herons

Columbus Crew banked all three points against the Inter Miami in a 1-0 victory on Thursday, at MAPFRE Stadium. Columbus are now in 6th place on the table and have 39 points while Inter sit in 7th with 36 points after 39 matches.
After an uneventful first half, Columbus applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Díaz gave them the lead in the 64th minute, which sealed the victory for Columbus.
Substitutions for Columbus included Igbekeme, Williams and Anibaba for Artur, Díaz and Mensah, respectively. Inter brought on Jean, Vassilev, Gibbs and Rodríguez, to replace Lassiter, Bryce Duke, Mcvey and Taylor.
There were bookings for Nagbe and Etienne from Columbus. For Inter, Mcvey and Gregore saw yellow.
