Le SCO looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Adrien Hunou, at 67 minutes to establish a 2-2. However, each side looked hungry to win and Reims then found the back of the net, 70 minutes in thanks to Folarin Balogun, taking the score to 3-2. However they weren’t finished yet and Alexis Flips made it 4-2 just before the final whistle to make it 4-2.
Substitutions for Angers included Sada Thioub, Sofiane Boufal, Abdallah Sima, Lois Diony and Himad Abdelli for Waniss Taibi, Halid Sabanovic, Amine Salama, Cedric Hountondji and Adrien Hunou, respectively.
