Tigres UANL beat Mazatlán with a thumping 1-0 victory on Saturday at Estadio de Mazatlan. Both teams arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. Mazatlán were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last match 4-2 to Puebla. Tigres, on the other hand, were beaten 3-2 in the previous match against Cruz Azul.
