León on home loss to Deportivo Toluca at Estadio Leon on Wednesday. León were looking for a victory following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Guadalajara in their previous game while Toluca were coming off the back of a 2-1 win against Santos Laguna. As it stands, León and Toluca currently occupy 8th and 2nd spots in the table, with 6 points and 12 points respectively after 5 matches.
Following a goalless first half, Los Diablos Rojos continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Daniel Alvarez gave Toluca the lead just before the final whistle, which sealed the victory for the visitors.
