Juárez were held to 1-1 draw by Querétaro down on Saturday at Estadio Olimpico Benito Juarez. Juárez were looking to continue their run after winning last match. Querétaro, on the other hand, were beaten 2-1 in the previous match against Necaxa. As the table looks today, Juárez are currently 5th with 4 points from 3 matches, while Querétaro sit in 18th, with 0 points from 3.

Los Bravos started strongly in the first half, when Gabriel Fernandez gave Juárez the lead after only 6 minutes. However, their lead was short lived, as Jordan Silva equalised for Querétaro, 13 minutes in, to take a 1-1 lead into half time. The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.

Substitutions for Juárez included Mauro Lainez, Fernando Arce, Alan Medina and Dario Lezcano for Candido Ramirez, Maximiliano Silvera, Maximiliano Olivera and Alberto Acosta, repectively. Querétaro brought on Rodrigo Lopez, Ettson Ayon Calderon and Juan Romagnoli, to replace David Barbona, Angel Sepulveda and Leonardo Sequeira.

There were bookings for Mauro Lainez from Juárez. For Querétaro, Leonardo Sequeira and Jorge Hernandez saw yellow.

Juárez will next play Necaxa away, with Querétaro facing Monterrey at home.
