Chivas 0 – San Luis 1: Las Chivas lose at home to “Los Atléticos”
Atl. San Luis’ 1-0 win over Guadalajara on Sunday, was hard fought at Estadio Akron. Chivas wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Juárez in their previous game. San Luis lost 2-1 in the last match they played against León. As it stands, Chivas are in 12th place in the table and have 1 point while San Luis sit in 15th with 0 points after 2 matches.
It was an impressive opening from “Los Atléticos”, when Facundo Waller gave San Luis the lead just before halftime, to take a 1-0 lead into half time. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.
Substitutions for Chivas included Pavel Perez, Jose De Jesus Gonzalez Munoz, Alan Mozo, Sebastian Bouquet and for Alan Torres, Hiram Mier, Angel Zaldívar, Carlos Cisneros and, repectively. San Luis replaced Andres Iniestra, Rubens Sambueza, Vitinho and Sabin Merino with Facundo Waller, Rodrigo Dourado, Jhon Murillo and Abel Hernandez.
