Peterborough United 3-0 Morecambe: The Posh too strong for Morecambe at Abax Stadium

Peterborough United beat Morecambe FC with a thumping 3-0 victory on Saturday at Abax Stadium. Peterborough United were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Morecambe FC are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. Peterborough United started the first half well, when Joe Ward opened the rout, at 9 minutes. Peterborough United then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Ben Thompson just before halftime, concluding the first half 2-0.

Peterborough United continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Hector Matthew Kyprianou found the net, 72 minutes in, leaving the final score at 3-0.
