Swansea City strolled past West Bromwich Albion with a 3-2 win on Saturday at The Hawthorns. West Brom were aiming to improve their league standing following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Norwich City in their previous game. Swansea were able to continue their winning streak after a 3-0 win against Hull City in their last match. West Brom are now in 21st place, with 10 points from 12 matches, while Swansea sit in 9th, with 15 points from 12.

The Swans started the first half well, when Matthew Sorinola found the net after only 6 minutes and saw the first half out 1-0.

West Brom started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with an early goal from Jake Livermore in the 48th minute. The Baggies looked to have the match under control when they scored again to grab the advantage, thanks to a goal from Grady Diangana in the 65th minute to establish a 2-1. However, the good form didn’t last for long, as an equalizer from Olivier Ntcham, 71 minutes in, brought Swansea level. However they weren’t finished yet and Michael Obafemi made it 3-2 just before the full time to give a final score of 3-2.

Substitutions for West Brom included Jayson Molumby, Okay Yokuslu, Karlan Grant and Matthew Phillips for Tom Rogic, Jake Livermore, John Swift and Jed Wallace, respectively. Swansea brought on Michael Obafemi, Olivier Ntcham, Joel Latibeaudiere and Armstrong Oko-Flex, to replace Luke Cundle, Jay Fulton, Oliver Cooper and Matthew Sorinola.

There were bookings for Darnell Furlong, Erik Pieters and Tom Rogic from West Brom. For Swansea, Ryan Manning saw yellow.

Swansea and West Brom will next play away to Watford and Preston North End respectively.
