West Brom enjoyed a home victory against Blackpool at The Hawthorns on Tuesday. West Brom were looking to get back to winning ways after losing 2-0 to Sheffield United in their last match whilst Blackpool were hoping to continue their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Coventry City and Preston North End. West Brom are currently 23rd with 17 points from 19 matches, while Blackpool sit in 15th, with 22 points from 19.
After an uneventful first half, West Brom applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Okay Yokuslu just before the full time. They managed to close the match out with a clean sheet and a well-earned of 1-0 victory.
Substitutions for West Brom included Grady Diangana, Tom Rogic, Jayson Molumby and Brandon Thomas-Asante for Jed Wallace, Karlan Grant, Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Matthew Phillips, respectively.
