QPR 1-1 Rotherham: Millers settle for a point at Loftus Road against Rangers
On Saturday, QPR and Rotherham were held to a 1-1 draw at Loftus Road Stadium. QPR were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Blackpool. Rotherham had managed to pick up a single point in their matchup with Preston North End. As the table looks today, QPR and Rotherham sit 16th, (5 points) and 12th, (6 points), in the league respectively, after 5 matches.
The Millers started strongly in the first half, when Chiedozie Ogbene gave Rotherham the lead, at 33 minutes. However, their lead was short lived, as Chris Willock equalised for Rangers just before halftime. The score at half time was 1-1. The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
Substitutions for QPR included Andre Dozzell, Albert Adomah, Sinclair Armstrong and Olamide Shodipo for Stefan Johansen, Tyler Roberts, Lyndon Dykes and Chris Willock, repectively. Rotherham brought on Cohen Bramall, Wes Harding, Scott High, Georgie Kelly and Jamie Lindsay, to replace Shane Ferguson, Lee Peltier, Oliver Rathbone, Conor Washington and Daniel Barlaser.
There were bookings for Rob Dickie, Andre Dozzell and Sam Field from QPR, and Cameron Humphreys and Viktor Johansson, for Rotherham.
QPR will next travel to Watford, while Rotherham will face Birmingham City at home.
