QPR were defeated at home by Blackpool at Loftus Road Stadium on Tuesday. QPR arrived with the intention of increasing their league score following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Sunderland AFC in their previous game. Blackpool, on the other hand, were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Swansea City. As the table looks today, QPR and Blackpool currently occupy 15th and 7th spots in the league, with 4 points and 6 points respectively after 4 matches.

Blackpool started strongly in the first half, when Josh Bowler gave Blackpool the lead just before halftime, ending the first half 1-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

Substitutions for QPR included Sinclair Armstrong, Olamide Shodipo and Albert Adomah for Stefan Johansen, Tyler Roberts and Kenneth Paal, repectively. Blackpool brought on Sonny Carey, Jordan Gabriel, Theodor Corbeanu and Jordan Thorniley, to replace Charlie Patino, Lewis Fiorini, Josh Bowler and Shayne Lavery.

There were bookings for Jimmy Dunne from QPR. For Blackpool, Dominic Thompson and Marvin Ekpiteta saw yellow.

QPR will play at home against Rotherham United, while Blackpool will face Burnley away.
