Norwich 1-1 West Brom: Canaries held at home by the Baggies

On Saturday, Norwich and West Brom played out a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road. Norwich were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two matches against Bristol City at home and Coventry City at home, by 3-2 and 3-0 respectively, while West Brom had lost their previous match against Birmingham City. Norwich are currently 2nd with 20 points from 11 matches, while West Brom sit in 21st, with 10 points from 11.

West Brom started the first half well, when Dara O’Shea gave them the lead, at 9 minutes, saw out the first half 1-0.

Norwich took the lead in the second half, when Sam Byram found the net, at 68 minutes, seing the match finish 1-1.

Both managers used all substitutions. Substitutions for Norwich included Onel Hernandez, Kieran Dowell and Todd Cantwell for Gabriel, Marcelino Nunez and Aaron Ramsey, respectively, West Brom brought on Karlan Grant, Adam Reach and Matthew Phillips, to replace Brandon Thomas-Asante, Grady Diangana and Jayson Molumby.

There were bookings for Max Aarons from Norwich. For West Brom, Darnell Furlong saw yellow.

Norwich will next play Blackpool away, with West Brom facing Swansea City at home.
