Queens Park Rangers banked all three points against the Millwall in a 2-0 victory on Wednesday, at the Den. Millwall were keen to hang onto their position at the top of the table and extend their winning run after winning last match. QPR had lost their previous match against Swansea City. Millwall and QPR currently occupy 18th and 7th spots in the league, with 10 points and 14 points respectively after 10 matches.

Following a goalless first half, whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on Rangers who started the second half strongly, when Chris Willock found the net, 54 minutes in. However they weren’t finished yet and Stefan Johansen made it 2-0 on the 71 minute mark to make it 2-0.

Substitutions for Millwall included Benik Afobe, Tyler Burey, George Honeyman and Scott Malone for Tom Bradshaw, Andreas Voglsammer, George Saville and Callum Styles, respectively. QPR brought on Lyndon Dykes, Andre Dozzell, Macauley Bonne, Albert Adomah and Osman Kakay, to replace Tyler Roberts, Chris Willock, Tim Iroegbunam, Ilias Chair and Kenneth Paal.

Millwall next face Blackpool while QPR are at home to Stoke City.
