Hull City 2-1 Wigan Athletic: Hull release pressure by beating Wigan
Hull City’s 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic on Wednesday, was hard fought at Mkm Stadium. Hull City were looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last match 2-0 to Luton Town. Wigan Athletic were able to continue their winning streak after a 2-0 win against Rotherham United in their last match. Hull City are now in 16th place on the table and have 14 points while Wigan Athletic sit in 10th with 16 points after 13 matches.
Wigan Athletic scored first, when Will Keane found the net, at 14 minutes. However, their lead was short-lived, as Dimitris Pelkas equalised for Hull City in the 21st minute, which brought Andy Dawson’s squad level at 1-1 at the half time break
Hull City rallied after this and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Oscar Estupinan on the 65 minute mark, leaving the final score at 2-1.
