Cardiff 1-2 Luton: The Bluebirds can’t contain in-form Hatters
Luton Town eased past Cardiff City in a 2-1 victory on Tuesday at the Cardiff City Stadium. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Cardiff arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after a scoreless draw against Preston North End in their previous match. Luton had managed to pick up a single point in their matchup with Sheffield United. As the table looks today, Cardiff are in 16th place, with 8 points from 7 matches, while Luton sit in 9th, with 9 points from 7.
Luton found the net first, thanks to a goal from Luke Freeman just before halftime, finishing the first half 1-0.
The Hatters continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Gabriel Osho, 62 minutes in. In the end though, The Bluebirds just before the final whistle hit back though via a Romaine Sawyers goal. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 2-1 to Luton.
