São Paulo enjoyed a home victory against Atlético Goianense at Morumbí on Friday. Both São Paulo and Goianense arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Goianense took the lead in the second half, when Gabriel Baralha found the net, at 72 minutes. São Paulo in turn, then responded just before the full time, grabbing the lead with an effort from Luan, seing the match finish 2-1.
