Palmeiras 0-0 Paranaense: Visitors blank Palmeiras on the road to victory
Athletico Paranaense beated Palmeiras 2-0 on Sunday at Allianz Parque. Palmeiras were looking for a victory following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Avai in their previous game. Paranaense were coming from consecutive wins against Red Bull Bragantino and Coritiba. As the table looks today, Palmeiras and Paranaense currently occupy 1st and 2nd spots in the table, with 29 points and 27 points respectively after 15 matches.
Paranaense started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, when Vitor Roque found the net, 36 minutes in, which saw the first half end 1-0.
Paranaense continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Vitor Bueno found the net, 58 minutes in so at full time it was 2-0 to Paranaense.
