Fluminense 2-1 Ceará: Fluminense secure narrow victory at the Maracana
Ceará on away loss to Fluminense at Maracana on Sunday. Fluminense were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run after winning their previous two matches against Corinthians at home and Botafogo away, by 4-0 and 1-0 respectively. Ceará had to settle for a draw 1-1 against Internacional. After today’s result, Fluminense are in 2nd place, with 27 points from 16 matches, while Ceará sit in 15th, with 18 points from 16.
