Ceará on away loss to Corinthians at Neo Quimica Arena on Sunday. Corinthians were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Ceará had lost their previous match against Fluminense. Corinthians are currently 5th with 61 points from 36 matches, while Ceará sit in 17th, with 34 points from 36.

Following a goalless first half, Corinthians piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Yuri Alberto gave them the lead just before the final whistle. The match ended 1-0.

Substitutions for Corinthians included Fabio Santos, Roger Guedes, Giuliano and Maycon for Lucas Piton Crivellaro, Mateus Vital, Ramiro and Du Queiroz, respectively. Ceará brought on Jhon Vasquez, Ze Roberto, Vinicius Lima and Geovane, to replace Vinicius Goes, Jo, Erick and Richard.

There were bookings for Du Queiroz, Fagner, Robert Renan Alves Barbosa and Fabio Santos from Corinthians, and Richard, Vinicius Goes, Nino Paraiba and Ze Roberto, for Ceará.
